Enlightenment Philosphers have an impact?

Summary - The Enlightenment was a philosophical movement of the 18Th century characterized by belief in the power of human reason and questioning authority. Many enlightenment philosophers like John Locke, Voltaire, and Rousseau published their ideas on government.
Blog Question - How did the Enlightenment philosophers influence change in society?

Response-
Enlightenment philosophers influenced the society because it showed the people that they had a say in what they believe and they don't need to be pushed around any longer by a Monarchy . For example John Locke told them they have the freedom of property, life and freedom. Voltaire also influenced the people by fighting for freedom of speech. He was willing to die over freedom. If it wasn't for the philosophers inspirational words the common people would have been living in poverty and in harsh conditions for a longer period of time.
